About The Pastors

Pastor Calvin was born in Pineville, Louisiana. He served in the military for over 14 years and the Federal Government for over 20 years. Pastor Calvin accepted Jesus Christ in 2000, and holds a degree in Theology, and has several years of Seminary education. He has over 18 years in Ministry, with a commitment to the word of God, prayer, servanthood, and growing the kingdom of God.

He has faithfully served at St. John Church TMI in several Ministerial capacities, including family Life Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, Clergy Administrative Team, Male Chorus, Brotherhood Men’s Group, McCarver Sports and Recreation, and Expressions Small Group.

Under the leadership of Apostle Lee Arthur Madison at St. John Church TMI, he grew in his commitment to preach, teach with authority and a compassionate heart the uncompromising word of God helping to change and inspire people to reach their full potential in Christ. With a love of service and commitment to God, Pastor Calvin heard the voice of God calling him to establish the New Era Christian Church in September 2014, for the sole purpose of “Expanding the Kingdom, One Soul, One Destiny at a Time.”

Pastor Calvin is also a community focused business leader and the owner of Williams Logistical Services. A counselor, mentor, AAU basketball coach for over 20 years, AAPTSD member, and director of the Boys II Men Program. A program that helps young men/women in Tacoma and surrounding areas. He also works with public and private organizations to bring about change in Tacoma, Seattle, and surrounding areas, using his various occupations and roles to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Calvin has been married to his lovely wife, Yvonne for 18 wonderful years. They have five beautiful children: Cedric, Terrell, Robert, Trevon, and Dominic. In addition, he has four awesome grandchildren: Amery, Dominik, Kalieah, Katilaya, and Kelliana Wilson.
